Terms & conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. These terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") apply to Weetabix's "Send to a Friend” promotion (the "Promotion").

These Terms and Conditions will prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.

By participating, all Claimants will be deemed to have accepted and be legally bound by the Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

The promoter and Data Controller is Weetabix Limited (company number 00267687) whose registered office is at Weetabix Mills, Burton Latimer, Kettering, Northamptonshire, NN15 5JR ("Weetabix"). 1. This Promotion is only open to residents of the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland, aged 18 or over (each a “Claimant”), excluding the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, employees of the Promoter, their families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners), its agents and anyone professionally association with this Promotion.
2. Purchase is necessary in-store or online of a participating product (see clause 8). Internet access and a valid email address are required.
3. Please retain an itemised till/digital receipt that clearly shows:
   1. the Participating Pack.
   2. the time and date of purchase, which must be within the Purchase Period. (see clause 5)
   3. the name of the store
   as this will be required for validation and in order for Claimants to receive their discount code (in line with these Terms and Conditions).
4. Purchase Period: Purchase a Participating Pack, see clause 8 for details, between 00:01 BST on the 21 May 2025 and 23:59 BST on the 8 July 2025 inclusive.
5. Claim Period: Claim your Gift by 23:59 BST on the 22 July 2025.
6. To Claim:
   
   1. Purchase a Participating Pack (see clause 8), scan the QR code or visit www.weetabixall-stars.co.uk (UK only) or winwithweetabix.co.uk (ROI only)and complete the online form to provide your details, full name, email address, mobile number, image of your receipt and why you would like to gift a box of Weetabix.
   2. Once validated, Claimants will receive an email confirmation with a link to a pre-filled email to send to the person they want to gift a box of Weetabix to (each a “Recipient”). Claimants must input the Recipients’ email address and send the email to their Recipient. The Recipient will receive this email from the Claimant with a link and a unique code. The Recipient must click on the link, complete the online form providing their email address, postal address and unique code to receive their Gift. All the above actions in clause 6b must be completed by the Claimant and Recipient, as applicable, within 14 days of the Claimant receiving their initial email confirmation. Any claims which do not meet these requirements or are received after the specified time period will be void and invalid.
7. Participating Packs:
   1. Weetabix Original 24 pack
   2. Weetabix Original 48 l pack
   3. Weetabix Original 36 pack (Iceland and Farndon only)
8. Maximum of 1 claim is permitted per person during the Promotion Period. One itemised receipt per entry receipt must state the time and date of purchase, which must pre-date the entry date and time, but be within the Promotion Period. No household may receive more than 1 Gift.
9. The Gifts: Each valid Claimant will be able to send 1 x box of Weetabix Originals 24 pack to the chosen Recipient.
10. Further Claim and Gift Details and Conditions:
    1. Any claims made in accordance with clause 7, will be subject to the following terms and conditions:
       1. Following submission, Weetabix and/or its agency will verify the claim.
       2. The photo of the receipt must clearly show price paid, purchase of a Participating Pack, the time and date of purchase and the name of the store. Please note that some receipts may show the date on the reverse side of the receipt and, therefore, it may be necessary to upload more than one receipt image. Receipt images must be uploaded in .png, .jpeg, tiff, bmp or .pdf format (size limited to 10MB).
       3. Any claim attempts made outside of the Claim Period or receipts that are not dated within the Purchase Period will be deemed as invalid.
       4. Claims which do not include all information required will be deemed as invalid.
       5. Entrants must gift the Gift to a third party and not to themselves.
       6. Each receipt can only be used once for a single claim regardless of number of Participating Packs purchased.
    2. The Gift will be sent via post.
    3. It is the responsibility of the participant to provide their correct, up-to-date details when entering the Promotion and/or confirming acceptance of the Prize in order for their Prize to be processed. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects Prize acceptance or delivery of their Prize.
    4. The Promoter is not liable for any Prizes once distributed/dispatched to a winner and the Promoter will not be responsible for any Prizes not received, broken or lost in transit.
11. Gift Acceptance: Fulfilment of a Gift will take place within 28 working days of acceptance of the Gift. In the unlikely event that a Gift does not arrive within 28 working days, the Claimant must inform the Promoter by emailing consumerservice@weetabix.com within 14 days. If a Claimant does not do so, the Promoter reserves the right to not reissue the Gift or limit its value at its sole discretion.
12. The Promoter may request that the Claimants participate in publicity arising from the Promotion. Participation is at the Claimant’s discretion and is not a condition of Gift Claiming.
13. The Promoter seeks to run a fair and secure promotion and prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, your claim (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified. Any Gift awarded may be void and recoverable, and the Promoter reserves the right to bar you from entering future promotions for a period of at least six months. For this reason, the Promoter reserves the right at any point to:
    1. Verify the eligibility of Claimants through multiple means by requesting such information it consider reasonably necessary for this purpose. Claim or a Gift may be withheld until verification is completed.
    2. Disqualify claims that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion.
    3. Disqualify claims made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.
    4. Disqualify bulk claims from individuals, trade, consumer groups or third parties, incomplete claims and claims submitted by macros or other automated means.
    5. Disqualify claims beyond the maximum allowed, or those using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means.
    6. Disqualify Claimants who tamper with the entry process.
    7. Disqualify Claimants which, in some other way, do not meet the requirements of these Terms & Conditions.
    8. Cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion should it not be capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion.
14. The Gifts are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. If for any reason the Gifts are not available, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute that Gift for another of equal or greater value.
15. No responsibility can be taken for claims which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous or secure access to the entry page.
16. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion (JS15426) or accepting or using the/a Gift(s), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law, in which case its liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. Nothing will exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
17. The Promoter will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter.
18. The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent participation in the Promotion.
19. By claiming, all Claimants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. By participating in the Promotion, you acknowledge to the use of your personal data in accordance with its Privacy Notice (see, www.weetabix.co.uk/privacy-policy and www.weetabixall-stars.co.uk/privacy-policy (UK only) or www.winwithweetabix.co.uk/privacy policy (ROI only) including the sharing by Weetabix of your personal data with Weetabix's third party partners for the purposes of the administration of this Promotion. Personal data will not be disclosed to an unconnected third party unless your positive consent has been obtained. For Claimants from the United Kingdom, your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with current UK General Data Protection Regulations (UK GDPR) and any national implementing laws, regulations and secondary legislation to the UK GDPR or current Data Protection Act 2018. For Claimants from the Republic of Ireland, your personal details will be at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with current EU General Data Protection 2016/679 (GDPR) and Irish Data Protection Act 2018 laws. 20. The Promoter's decision is final with regard to all promotional matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
21. If any part/s of these Terms & Conditions are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.
22. By claiming, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
23. If there is a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and those in any promotional material, these Terms & Conditions will prevail.
24. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Residents of Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland may bring proceedings in their own jurisdiction.
